Shannon Wong dedicates her legal practice at Legal Grit, PLLC, to civil litigation, including First Party Property Insurance Disputes and Third-Party Property Insurance Disputes, advocating for property owners and small businesses against insurance corporations.

Shannon was born in Palm Beach County, Florida, where she lived until graduating high school. Upon graduation, she attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. While attending Florida State, Shannon completed an internship with the State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit in their Investigations unit.

Upon receiving her undergraduate degree, Shannon worked as a full-time Victim-Witness Coordinator with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office before attending Florida State University’s College of Law. Throughout her time in law school, Shannon served on the executive board for several student organizations, including the Association for Criminal Justice, Trafficking in America Task Force, and the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. She received High Honors in her Criminal Clerking Perspectives Course as well as the Criminal Litigation Externship Perspectives Course while completing a Certified Legal Internship at the State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit in and for Leon County, Florida.

After graduating from law school early and admission to the Florida Bar, Shannon began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney at the Leon County State Attorney’s office. During her time as an Assistant State Attorney, Shannon advocated on behalf of hundreds of victims throughout the community and tried over 11 jury trials.

After passionately serving her community as a prosecutor, Shannon joined Legal Grit, PLLC, as an Associate Attorney, where she took her passion and dedication as a legal advocate to fight for those wronged by their insurance companies.
