Briana L. Prieto
Associate Attorney
Briana L. Prieto is an associate attorney with Legal Grit, PLLC. Briana grew up near Green Bay, Wisconsin and focuses her legal practice on representing property owners in first party property insurance disputes including hurricane, fire, water, mold, theft, and more. Ms. Prieto has legal experience in various areas of law including property, personal injury, and personal injury protection (PIP).
Ms. Prieto received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University in May of 2015. After graduating from college, Ms. Prieto attended Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Prieto worked full time as a law clerk – first, at a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm and subsequently, at an insurance defense firm. Ms. Prieto remained active in her community throughout law school and served as President of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) student chapter from 2017-2018. Ms. Prieto graduated Cum Laude with her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Health Care in May of 2018. Briana has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2018.
Prior to joining Legal Grit, Ms. Prieto has represented insurance companies in claims made against them by insureds and other parties. That experience gives Ms. Prieto an invaluable perspective and skill set, which aids her in passionately advocating on behalf of homeowners who have been wronged by their insurance companies. Today, Ms. Prieto’s lifelong passion for serving the community is her driving factor in passionately representing her clients.
